Hello savings. Goodbye long-term contracts!

SIP trunk benefits

No contracts

Unlike other carriers, we won't lock you into a long-term contract. We bill month-to-month and you may cancel at any time, without penalty. Not having a contract means we have to win your business every single day!

Immediate ROI

While many business solutions can take a long time to prove their worth, the benefits of SIP will be immediate. There is no major upfront investment needed to get started, and you will see an instant reduction in your phone bill.

Unlimited calling

Our customers enjoy a predicatable, steady phone bill thanks to unlimited local and long distance calling to all 50 US states and Canada.

Scalability

Since there is no physical phone line to install, adding additional SIP trunks can be done in minutes, not weeks. This is great for companies that require more call paths during busy peak seasonal times. (May require additional licensing, based on your phone system)

Never miss a call

In the case of a power or internet (ISP) outage, your incoming calls can automatically route to another phone number, such as a mobile phone, offsite phone or even a cloud auto-attendant or cloud mailbox with email notification.

Advanced call routing

You no longer need to purchase expensive dedicated phone lines if an employee needs their own private line. SIP Trunks can route incoming phone numbers directly to a specific phone or device of your choosing, without needing to dial an extension number.

Keep your existing hardware

In most cases, SIP trunks are already compatible with your existing phone system hardware. And when minimal upgrades are required, the cost will usually be covered by your first month or two of phone bill savings.

Keep your phone numbers

Keep all of your current local and toll-free numbers. We can also help you secure a new business toll-free number, or help you build a local presence by ordering you a new phone number in any area code.

Business continuity

Our SIP trunks are designed to minimize business disruption, so that storms, power outages, or ISP failures won't put you out of business.

Incoming call

Don't let situations outside of your control keep you from connecting with customers or teammates.

Phone system failure

Cloud auto-attendant

A must-have solution for any company currently using an auto-attendant menu. (ie. “For sales, press 1. For support, press 2.”)

If you suffer a power outage, incoming calls will automatically be redirected to the cloud. Callers will be greeted with your auto-attendant greeting and can select menu options to be routed to the correct departments, where they can be answered by mobile phones, offsite phones, or cloud mailboxes.

Cloud mailbox

A cloud mailbox allows callers to leave you voice messages even if your phone system suffers a power outage. The mailbox can play a greeting for the caller, take a message, and send you an email with the message recording attached.

SIP Trunk FAQ

Here are the most frequently asked questions about SIP. Please contact us if you have any further questions.

To answer this question, first let's discuss traditional, copper telephone lines. Up until recent years, a phone call required a physical connection between two points to complete a call. This meant running copper wires into your building and connecting it to your phone system. This aging infrastructure of physical copper lines is getting more and more expensive to maintain, which is why traditional phone lines are so costly.

SIP trunks, on the other hand, use the internet to make calls. When you make a phone call over a SIP trunk, your audio is converted into a digital packet and sent to its destination in the form of a VoIP (Voice over IP) call. This is why businesses who already have a strong internet connection are prime candidates for SIP trunks. By using the ifrastructure you already have in place, you can eliminate your expensive copper telephone lines, and reduce your communication costs dramatically.

Yes. You can choose to keep your existing fax machine, or switch to our eFax service to start sending and receiving faxes directly through your business email.

On the day of your SIP trunk migration, your local My Tel Pros Reseller Agent will be on-site to update your phone system's settings and oversee the migration process. A dedicated support technician will assist in establishing the connection between your phone system and our SIP service. We will test inbound and outbound calls to ensure high quality.
