Provides one user with two modes of operation
- "Desktop" mode
- "Softphone" mode
Desktop mode allows user to:
- Control their telephone from their PC (Answer, Dial, Hang-up, Hold, Transfer, Conference, Page, Park, Do Not Disturb, Last Number Dial, Pickup, Redirect, Call Forward, BLF/DSS keys, etc.)
- Utilize a Directory/Contact List to initiate outgoing calls
- Review/manage log of incoming/outgoing calls
- Initiate calls from MS Outlook Contacts folder
- View screen-pops
- Highlight a phone number in any program and "Click to Dial"
Desktop Mode does not require that the system be equipped with a VoIP Daughter Board.
Softphone mode allows use of PC or laptop as a key telephone and requires that the system be equipped with a VoIP daughter board.
Depending on setup functions, may utilize a system port.
